WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat

The exclusive WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat is located on a high plateau above Kiedrich, an idyllic wine-growing community in the Rheingau-Taunus district of southern Hesse. Secluded yet connected, the hotel is surrounded by nature - yet only a few minutes' drive from Frankfurt, Mainz and Wiesbaden. A time-out with spectacular views and 18 hectares of the hotel's own forest.

The WALD.WEIT offers 80 elegant rooms and suites, all of which have a balcony or terrace and offer a direct view of the forest or across the Rhine Valley thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. The furnishings are characterised by natural materials and warm colours and are therefore in harmony with nature. Guests experience comfort and privacy - a time-out to savour!

In the WALD.FEIN restaurant, the regional flavours of the Rheingau merge with modern culinary art. Seasonal dishes, perfected by hand, accompanied by exquisite wines. Following the farm-to-table concept, ingredients are served directly from the restaurant's own garden. Fresh wild herbs give the dishes that certain something. The vegetables and meat are sourced from local producers.

The Rooftop Bar & Lounge WALD.TROPFEN offers exclusive cocktails, drinks and exquisite wines on the menu. The in-house sommelier is on hand to help guests choose the right wine.

In the immediate vicinity of the hotel and idyllically situated on the edge of the forest is the summer garden with around 100 seats - the perfect place to indulge in light, regional specialities and enjoy the view during a hike or bike ride.

With the famous Rheinsteig long-distance hiking trail on the doorstep and the hotel's own forest, the WALD.WEIT is an Eldorado for active guests. A diverse network of hiking trails through vineyards and jogging routes for all abilities are right on the doorstep. The design hotel also offers mountain bikers its own flow trails. If you prefer something a little quieter, you can take a deep breath during yoga in the open air, feel the silence of the forest and let your gaze wander over the Rhine Valley.

After an active day, guests can relax in the rooftop saunas. In 2027, a spa and wellness area will be added to the WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat. A spacious indoor and outdoor spa area will be created on around 6,500 square metres.
